one unsweet day

Avocado smoothie for my industrious hubby.
His is sugared while mine is unsweetened! Aww, life is just so different when sweet! Hafta endure this season! All for this miraculous bundle of blessing!
Soli Deo Gloria! :)

26 weeks

Playing with the little guy (24 weeks 4days)...
He follows the heat of my hand... and it's really cool knowing he can now identify touch from the outside-in. And, yes, I am enjoying more of this daily bonding times!
The Lord is really Sovereign! Praises!
Here's Gen crying, praying and kissing Zion.

package approved

It's our hiking day once again and we opted to go to Bankerohan to do market. It's making the most of our 30min schedule. Before we finished bagging our loot, I was totally tempted to get a dozen of roses and some wild ornamentals. And yes, it kept me busy early morning--the thorns in the roses are too much of a trouble! Nonetheless, I'm happy with my first attempt at table flower arrangement (have been doing bouquets, though). Thanks to the mushroom of phone photography apps, it turned french romantic in this photo! ayeee!

After all the domestic activity, had to rush to the hospital to get my mothers' class certificate! the last requirement for my much-needed maternity package. And yes, after all the (click link to view blog entry) ordeal, we got it! =D the Lord is good!

Had a statement of approval signing and then, we're about to start the payment! Can't believe I'm due three-month's time.
And to celebrate God's favor, here's my attempt at chop-suey. Walang broccoli (had to steam it the other day) and chicken--ahaha.

The Lord is good. The Lord is faithful!

hiking w mama

Hiking was never the same with mama. She needs regular hike as suggested by her doctor. Yep, bonding na din! =D

for my eyes only jun24

I had been eyeing on this treat long ago... and we only got the chance of buying it today as we strolled the mall and got passed their kiosk. I am so into caramel popcorn (Goldilocks never fails!), but at this point, only the husband gets to enjoy the snack. Yes, he just discovered he can effortlessly devour the entire serving while at work.

Bible reading for Z

At 25 weeks, it is said that the pre-partum baby is developing the sharpeness of its hearing. So, yes, tonight, is another Bible story for bed time.

Oh my, I'm really loving this nanay-thing.

sorting baby stuff

Yay, Zion will be here three-month's time... So, here I am, sorting all the baby stuff I have (had to separate the girlies... and I have a bigger bag--for the baby sister, maybe?! =D)

Now listing what else I need... Let's go!

lunch at EY's

an already extended meal invitation from Ate Lina for our family... and finally, we got the chance. we're missing Lalai, though!
ang busog, nakakatulog? yikes!
perte ka-init bisan nag-payong ilang suga! =D

Thank you, Ate Lina for the sumptuous lunch! :):):)

brekkie in bed

for my husband... for the occasion of: nothing but life and love.

Gen's work starts at 6am and his computer desk is positioned in the room--so we better buy a breakfast-in-bed table (which is also a laptop table in bed)! Here's a healthy brekkie (he drank up two cups of coffee already!) for my La-Love!

paksiw na bangus

I'm still learning to cook more at-home viands... so here's the fish cooked in ginger and vinegar! :)

Abreeza Challenge

starting the week off with a morning stretch & prayer walk... we got to Abreeza (yes, on foot!) at around 5:45, just enough to get back home by ride (dili na kaya sa buntis magbaklay pauli)... =D

we're on our alternating day walk at six months... God is good! :)

Fathers' Day

Gen (along with the other fathers at the second service), being prayed for. it's our first fathers' day and it's overwhelming.
it was Joy's turn to cook for the klosel today. pork adobo!
we love the thought that we can gather our disciples together and fellowship with food--so Acts 2:42-47 and renting this house is really an investment ministry-wise!
here's Gen, beaming in the truth of being a new father. yes, he's a father already although our eldest hasn't arrived yet. but really, he's been doing his job as Tatay already even during this pregnancy journey. He's completely involved in assisting me and always providing for the needs (vitamins, milk, baby gears, prayer, walks-with-me, pre-natal check-ups and singing and talking to the baby). Yes, fatherhood has started!

24weeks 3days

Walking again... kinahanglan kaayo! :)
later this morning, i went to BCH/Brok (Brokenshire College Hospital) and DMSFH (Davao Medical School Foundation Hospital), both for maternity package interviews. We already submitted the requirements at Brok and now praying for favor that we can pass the deliberation. A previous patient-to-be was rejected because they were not in the income bracket. But we really hope to avail. We could buy a lot of diapers and baby gears in the difference between the package and regular rates.

Thank you in advance, Lord! :)
