my plain Jane side

now that i'm prego, i skip ice cream and the like. but this afternoon, i let Magnum slide. =D

i asked Gen to pose for the camera. he looked delighted with the delectable treat (but i don't think so with Manny). however, he didn't actually like the whole thing. pero ako, super nag-enjoy! prolly because i'm the vanilla-ice-cream and plain-chocolate type. yes, your typical Plain Jane.

and then off we went to get our carton purchases. yep, it's moving time!

22weeks 2days

biggie na ba my tummy?

when i pass by our street, i hide my growing belly. i kind of detest answering the same questions a zillion times since i get pregnant! are you pregnant? are you having a boy or a girl? waaaaaah!

but really, when i go to the bank, i inflate my tummy all the more. you should know that one of the perks of pregnancy is to get to be entertained first in a long line of clients although you get in late! yikes!

well, only 18weeks to go...

NSO furnished

we're currently working on with our important documents. and yes, we now have our NSO-furnished marriage certificate! weee! we are 29weeks married now and it's never been less the fun we expected. in obeying God, joy supersedes the heart.

Soli Deo Gloria!

maiden identity

Rejoice Credo Lagat. I've loved everything about my single years. And I couldn't be more honest to say that I'm loving my married season even more! Well, not that they can be compared. But the "more" part is just an intensifier of what is "now." I've always believed that I could not live in the past nor in the future. Should the future come, yes, let it be so!

Yes, beginning today, I make conscious efforts of changing my IDs & bank cards to my married name. It's not gonna be easy and fast. But I have to. D-Day's sooner than I think it is!

entering second half

Had a wonderful time crying to the Lord... And again, it's all about the gratefulness that I could not hold in  my little self. My heart just superlatively overwhelms with awe at what I am experiencing right now: a baby inside me and a super-great husband beside me.

The Lord is good. The Lord is good. The Lord is good... I could not end.

And then, I realized, I should not be crying at this time in the morning... and that because I'm pregnant, it might harm the baby. But crying has been natural for me, perhaps the baby is okay with it, and let me be [me] even at his/her coming. So, I pursued. ha, pregnancy makes you experience weird interruptions in a very intimate time with the Lord.

I was resting in His arms. And I was crying all the more.

Baby, we can't wait for you.

my first mother's day

mother's day love from those who consider me a mother already! =D
I was also busy preparing colognes & keychains for some mothers in church & then I also got these cuties... I so love the Avent bottle. I am actually saving up for a few pieces. So, here's my first already! Yay! #thoughtfulEagerlz:)

in-between church service... while everyone's greeting others...

and here's my first greeter! #mybabydaddy =D

sixth monthsary

Hurrah for six happy months!
Gen gave me this Lisa Bevere book (my third of her writings) and I could not be more thrilled I jumped right into reading. #thoughtfulhusband

We spent the day serving (as regcom) at the couple's fun time at the beach. Had a great time bonding & blessing the married in church.
19weeks 4days... #justcountin'

19 weeks 2 days

I'm enjoying this pregnancy thing. Lord, You are truly sovereign! =D

Had my 5th check-up today. The baby's heartbeat is even more vigorous plus we heard some discrete interrupting sounds which meant its movement. Weee, s/he's moving a lot!

date night with Auntie Azon

Almost everyone's out-of-town for the G12 Mindanao Conference. So, tonight, we opt having dinner with our dearest Auntie Azon at Safari Grill. =D

We could not thank her enough for being warm and welcoming with our newlywed-circumstance. She was the one who actually hosted Gen when he came to Davao, pre-wedding times. She also helped us find and settle in our first apartment. And now, she opened her home for us. Yep, boarders mode! =D

We let the night pass us with full tummies!
I was mischievous tonight:
~finished 4 dishes of manggang hilaw with bagoong
~2 servings of ice cream (my first ice cream since getting prego)
~my dinner dish
~1serving of halo-halo
~2 glasses of iced tea

oh my, oh my!

kick baby kick

17 weeks and 6days now... and we have the first flutters--or kicks! yeah! =D

only five months left of this sweet journey with our firstborn... the Lord is good and will always be! Surely goodness will follow us all the days of our lives!
