58 humble years

staff meeting today... Gen bought Ate Tata a tiny cake to celebrate her 58th with a dreamy blow. i can truly feel her joy... and really, this is what we wanted to put a smile to servants of God...

may God honor the years that Ate Tata laid before the Lord... so many of us, who once were part of the sunday school have grown up to love God and love people...

The Fire Tunnel

Praying at the end of the 21-Day Daniel's Fast... The night was about the celebration of God's heart, sharing testimonies and answers to prayers. We are so blessed to be a part of the impartation session. God is awesome.

Tonight, I could only rest well and continue to be amazed at what God has done on this full-pack day: preaching on the Sunday service (SALT: The Nature of Influence), SOL3 Preaching, PEPSOL recognition, Celebration Service, and Close Cell. Whew! God sustains!

Mercie, Lord!

big, big day

Cooking pasta while watching The Royal Engagement (Princess Diaries 2). This was part of the lineup of princess/wedding movies I would have wanted to watch awaiting the wedding.

So what happened to the lasagna? Lying in wait for the baking part. Tomorrow nalang.
baked na!!! ---->

Big, big day. First meet up for the preloved items shop and two sales for the sky lanterns! Woohoo! Ha, I'm I'm really happy over these things. I may not be gaining near 10% to what Gen earns but at least I get to feel the market. Plus, I'm back to job applications. Hoping for a supsuper-favorable job! Thank You in advance, Lord!

in the pink of health

[new twitter background; @pastowej]

This afternoon, I had my facial (just finishing the last two sessions since the wedding preps) while Gen got himself a new haircut. We're starting the year with more conscious efforts health-wise. We're asking God for three major things in this area and we are so excited to see God work on it this year.

Being fond of colors, I never had a time favoriting pink. In grade school, I liked yellow and then green (although most of my stuff then was purple---including shoes and those Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles slippers that were prominent then), and in high school, I liked red. In college, I was solid purple lover since I had that revelation of royalty.

Pink.

And, as I was researching for the meaning of the color, it also adds "acme of excellence..." Wow, sarap naman isipin that this year, we will be excelling in the things we attempt to do, as God enables us.

May God get the glory of all the things that will transpire this year. Hoping for one big, exceeding, pink year of lengths and widths! Soli Deo Gloria!

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,[c] 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
-Ephesians 3:14-20

Year of Lengths and Widths

When 2009 entered, Gen asked me what declaration I have for the year. I was caught off guard. I only always declare that every year is the Year of the Lord! Tama naman dba?

Nonetheless, he encouraged me to declare one word or phrase that would be the highlight of the year (given that even the smallest details of the time is God's). These were our declarations:
2009 - Higher Ground (Gen)
2009 - Conquest (Rej)
2010 - Breakthrough (Gen)
2010 - God-Displays (Rej)
2011 - Beaulah / Isaiah 62 (Gen + Rej)

God has been truly gracious this year. We married (and more). We can testify of purity and grace. We have received so much blessing. We had growing cells and disciples. We are having financial breakthrough (the breakthrough part is in the giving actually). We traveled. And we continue to believe. Who knows what God has prepared for us to give and do.

For 2012, we received this Word:
14 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants[b] forever. 16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. 17 Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.” Genesis 13:14-17 NKJV

We have dreams. We are expectant. We will fully obey. And we only believe in the Lord Almighty to do His work in and through us. To Him be all the glory already!
