Eeeek!

Yogurt is definitely beneficial. Well, especially if it has the live bacteria.
Today, Mom got me a jumbo-sized unflavored yogurt. Lain kaayo'g lasa! Pastilan! But since, very helpful daw siya sa digestion, as they are [probiotics], I have to endure. Also, it is a good source of protein, which my baby needs (a lot of growing needs to happen in the first tri) =)

I am a yogurt lover, actually. But I fancy the flavored ones (mango is my favorite!). And today, I do a lot of feeding - staring - feeding - staring - feeding cycles! =D

Good luck!

This blog is primarily for our kids to come back--that's when they can read already. Baby#1 should know those photo-ed are the aids to my first pregnancy.
1. Folic Acid - much needed ;)
2. Duphaston - pampakapit. Baby is well-planted at upper left side of uterus; Hindi mababa near the cervix which risks miscarriage. Nonetheless, I had to take this tablet (2x a day, 7days @P58 ea -- whew! ;)) because I had Focal Myometrical Contractions as per detected by TVS (ultrasound).

Gen always whispers to my belly, "Kapit ka baby, ha? Kapit ng mabuti."

Gen would surely make a great father. Masyadong maalaga. Super matalino, super mabait, super industrious, super patient and Supsuper gwapo! What else can I ask for?!!

:):)

happy new toy

Gen's got a new toy work buddy! Yes, this is good news to us, while [very, very good news] to him. He's been dying to get a high-end computer way back wedding-preparation days.

The truth is, he's got a new job that is really demanding. And our ol' Acer lappy cannot seem to cope anymore (even with that previous job). Just in time for the new job to start, we were able to get an i7 computer with 23" monitor, and 8G RAM. We've had our time of canvasing ordeal, too. And it truly was a favor when Gen got back to the place, the cost went 20K minus. Woah! The Lord is too good in His ways!

We are still amazed. And now enjoying the blessing. As Gen would say, "Nasasabayan na niya yung mga nasa isip ko."

Okay, I do not know if he's talking how fast his brain works than a computer or how slow our previous computer was (you know the hanging-moments).

And today we say, "God, we love being Your children!"

first trimester ultrasound

So I laid there watching my baby being photographed by the OB-Gyne. She spoke jargons only for her secretary to record. I was bawling as I gaze at God's wonder over me. Yes, one fear life growing inside me!

This is love at first sight.

Well, I must say I already love our soon-to-be children even before God forms them. It is something that prompts you to take good care of your body whenever you think of them.

So, Dr. Lim pointed a shaggy part she calls "heart."
"This is your baby, and this is the heart beat. Good Cardio Motion."

Really, God is wondrous. And He makes wondrous things.

I got the result and read something that caught my attention. Well, I need to see my OB--it's her job to explain, not mine.

Rest is Best

[merienda break after the check-up; yes, the cravings start!]

It's our second visit to my OB-Gyne. I need to get my tests (yesterday) interpreted. :) So far, I was told to have bed rest for the next two weeks--yep, bed rest! Let's see how long can I endure! My urinalysis turned out well. Blood test showed border line on hemoglobin--typiCal since I had blood tests! I need to take iron as doctor schedules. So far, I'm good and should cooperate with the rest prescription! Remind me.
we spent the remaining hours of the afternoon looking for a high-end PC set for Gen. He just got a new job that requires a better "horse"! I need to accompany him since he cannot catch up when the Visayan transaction gets fast and deep; plus, we need to decide together what to get. Good thing, I survived the afternoon.

financial wit

I was asked to see the mailman personally. Okay, it's a new credit card. Weee! This is a real favor since we wanted to cut our HSBC card. Gen is not sold out with credit cards and I personally am not into getting credits. We'd rather pay through our debit cards (Yes, BPI is handy!) But we admit, we need a credit card for special cases especially in booking online tickets! Looks like we're set to go lengths and widths--really!

Lord, as you bless, grant us more wisdom!

open cell

What can you expect with 10 young couples gathering for God's Word? Yes, so much blessing. The group has even more gel-ed and now planning to have an outdoors time. We can't wait!

people day

We attended Lexi's dedication. Yes, it was a Hello Kitty-Themed Party! Adults as we are, we enjoyed all the goodies that we're sent home with. Giveaways just define a party, noh?
Sad that I wasn't able to snap a photo of the celebrator! Tsk.

Gen at the back seat with the balloons. Hoarding na kung hoarding. We brought it the decors for the kids in church. =) =) And they got most of the freebies, too!
We then headed off to Arnold's and Debb's abode in Green Meadows, Mintal. Yes, all six of us went to do home visit. Papaps bought ice cream and it made our afternoon! Saya!

french macaroons--pwede ka bang paglihian?

I've been longing for French Macaroons even before I got married. And yes, we found them at Lachi's! Weeee!
As of now, there are no 'paglilihi' cravings yet. And, I'm actually tempted to fake 'em sometimes! haha.

Yes, the Yuppies meeting went well over sumptuous meals, cakes & again- specialty macaroons! I had mine tonight in Peppermint! Nyum!

eating our hearts out on our first valentines day

Instead of flowers and chocolates, we decided to eat much today. I know Gen's loaded with work and we both want to eat a lot and eat our favorite ribs and baked scallops--and yes, MY favorite white pusit! After our lunch, we sighed, "Best Valentine's Day ever!" Well, not just because of the food but because we felt sooo loved--we finally have our first valentine's day date! Yes, no need to rush. For those of you who wonder when will yours be, stay joyful in waiting for when it comes, it will be the start of the unlimited dates. After all, every day is heart's day!

third monthsary

Three months!
Thought it's been years that we're married. Tulo ka bulan pa lang diay! I guess that's because you become best friends with your mate that you get to know a lot of things & engage in countless endeavors that it seems a long while already.
Can't wait to add to this growing number as we seek to serve the Lord together!
We spent the day at the Encounter and had separate evenings for our close cells. Yes, we rejoice in the fact that we sent a couple from our cell to the Encounter. Weee! Friendship Shong & Cathy is a real gift from heaven! What better way to revel God's faithfulness than having found a family plus a treat of crackers! ha!
The rich day ended--finally! for we badly need rest!
God is faithful!

Spent lunch at Lim's cozy apartment! Lesson 7 na po kami sa Pre-Encounter! Weee! we're so excited of what God will do in their lives! Glad to see how eager they are. God is truly working! He also arranged that they won't miss much of their working days as DR & ICU nurses--it's the start of their VL (Vacation Leave). Soli Deo Gloria!

We had a great time of fellowship, thanks to the Korean ice bars served us! Thank you, Shong & Cathy! Your best days are before you!

there's a bean in the oven!

Th two purple lines made us cry!

Since the first day I missed my January 2012 period, I busied myself with PT's (pregnancy test). Then, only the control line appeared. I tested several days after because I wasn't painting the town red yet (!). A second line started showing up. My heart skipped beats. And finally, after almost two weeks delayed, our fifth & final trial cast 2 dark traces left by the chromatography-inspired test.

As I stared at the cassette (pictured), I was Mary-mode as I murmured, "Be it unto me, according to Your Word..."

...

We held hands. We wanted to scream. But we decided to do that after 'Amen.' And so, the prayer ended, we found ourselves texting our families about the news (of course, this wasn't confirmed by the professionals yet, nonetheless, faith moved mountains because PT kits are more reliable when positive than negative results).

yes, we forgot about the screaming part. i guess i'll have to do it full force come due date.

Sigh.

God got us in awe--again. He's just good at blessing His children!

date with disciples

Xeres invited us to have dinner with him and Glaisa...
They wanted to have crabs so we toured town to check the best.
Let's Crab It was our no-choice choice. And woah, it was pricy for a buffet dinner. But Xeres wanted to be the [it].

We love spending time with our disciples.
Life talks. Plans. Changes. Testimonies.

=)
