us

ONE already!!!
Yay--for family & friends who love us & supported us all the way!
Tonight we visited Bon & Bajoy with Borje & Weng. Ministering to another couple--God's way!

So much has happened the last year! And, yes, Zion is here!
Soli Deo Gloria.

blessed

we did not expect gifts for Zi... but knowing we are surrounded with people like the BCCians, little something's are indispensable! thank you all for joining us today & for showing extra love for our bundle of blessing!

the casualty

i purposely got this vintage jar as a gift to myself--and was too excited to use it for the candy buffet at Zi's dedication. And here it is--sitting in the corner--broken and totally unuseful. =(

sob.

the little man

the big O-N-E

when i look back, i could never be any happier!
and i put all the joy that i could squeeze from my little heart into full praise to my Father, my Giver.

i am greatly blessed, highly favored, deeply loved.

the big 30

30 pairs as i turn 30

Way back my high school and college years, I have been immersed in social action endeavors--especially when I went full time in ministry. Now that I am married, I must admit, I have not adjusted my time enough to squeeze in social justice (except giving alms--the least). So, now that I turn thirty, thirty pairs of new slippers were given to street kids--who do not just ask for money--but work for it by guarding parked private vehicles. This group, specifically, is in the ChowKing area at J.P.Laurel which is also ministered weekly by our lovely Eagerlz (led by Stephanie--not in photo).

I am personally blessed by these kids who happen to talk with my father before. Papaps asked them where they sleep at night. They enthusiastically pointed the overpass structure. The exclaimed, "Ang laki ng bahay namin , Pastor, noh?!"
"Saan kayo naliligo?"
"Sa ulan, Pastor. Kung walang ulan, duon sa gripo na nakita namin."
"Pa'no naman ang pagbawas nyo?"
"Sa Victoria Plaza!!!" (the nearest mall in the area)

These kids, whatever their stories are, remind me of how fortunate I am, and that I should be equally (or even more) happy of what I have.

Today, I gave and was given. Soli Deo Gloria.

family time

Lunch date with my loves...
Gen wants to spend the 12th (of this month/ our anniversary) at Marco Polo, where we were accommodated for our wedding preparations. But we scheduled Zi's dedication on the same date, we might as well have it now on my birthday! hurrah!

cutsie fatootsie footsies

Forgive my un-pedi-ed toe nails. Today, I have to document how my legs have changed since pregnancy took course--larger calves & lots of booboos (due to uncontrolled scratching from our previous abode). And what more could a pregnant endure: oedema on the foot. Yes, lots of fluid trapped in the capillaries... Thank God, no beriberi for me. And the swelling hid my varicose veins, but my close shoes seem to constrict my feet & make walking a bit struggling.

Again, thanks to Gen for making me drink up to 3litres of water (previously goaled 2litres), constant massaging, preparing a pile of pillows for my limbs to hang--my extensions now seem swell less.

Three weeks to go--and we keep our praises high! #SoliDeoGloria

we have decided

After all the search and study, we have decided to enroll at Brokenshire Hospital. Our reasons:
~they are the only hospital that caters Lamaze patients (Gen can witness the delivery; and we really want to welcome our eldest together & have birthing as a family afair!)
~they have the best OB Team in the city
~their maternity package is cheaper (a real plus!)
~it's a Christian hospital (i was able to peek in my application form; the remark was: patient has pastor parents and parents-in-law--Hmmm, it probably massaged the result!)

Now, here, this green card is granted us.

Being able to pay for a maternity package adds ease to the heart of expectant parents. Thank you always, dear Jesus, for enabling us! Right here and now, the victory is already Yours!

happy wife, happy life!

Got myself some paint today for our supposedly maternity shoot (yes, after a long, extensive & exhaustive mother's class at Brokenshire--a requirement for the package)... Apparently, the sun hid mid afternoon and rain showered. Bam, appointment canceled and now, forgive me for this deluge of domestic portraits. This is my way of documenting the "paid" make-up & a great day bonding with hubby. He is unquestionably supportive--orientation, diaper meetups, props preparation & getting his outfit.

When it comes to being a wife--I am super un-stressed. Genesis, he is more than what I've prayed for. #GodIsThoughtful
