cutsie fatootsie footsies

Forgive my un-pedi-ed toe nails. Today, I have to document how my legs have changed since pregnancy took course--larger calves & lots of booboos (due to uncontrolled scratching from our previous abode). And what more could a pregnant endure: oedema on the foot. Yes, lots of fluid trapped in the capillaries... Thank God, no beriberi for me. And the swelling hid my varicose veins, but my close shoes seem to constrict my feet & make walking a bit struggling.

Again, thanks to Gen for making me drink up to 3litres of water (previously goaled 2litres), constant massaging, preparing a pile of pillows for my limbs to hang--my extensions now seem swell less.

Three weeks to go--and we keep our praises high! #SoliDeoGloria

we have decided

After all the search and study, we have decided to enroll at Brokenshire Hospital. Our reasons:
~they are the only hospital that caters Lamaze patients (Gen can witness the delivery; and we really want to welcome our eldest together & have birthing as a family afair!)
~they have the best OB Team in the city
~their maternity package is cheaper (a real plus!)
~it's a Christian hospital (i was able to peek in my application form; the remark was: patient has pastor parents and parents-in-law--Hmmm, it probably massaged the result!)

Now, here, this green card is granted us.

Being able to pay for a maternity package adds ease to the heart of expectant parents. Thank you always, dear Jesus, for enabling us! Right here and now, the victory is already Yours!

happy wife, happy life!

Got myself some paint today for our supposedly maternity shoot (yes, after a long, extensive & exhaustive mother's class at Brokenshire--a requirement for the package)... Apparently, the sun hid mid afternoon and rain showered. Bam, appointment canceled and now, forgive me for this deluge of domestic portraits. This is my way of documenting the "paid" make-up & a great day bonding with hubby. He is unquestionably supportive--orientation, diaper meetups, props preparation & getting his outfit.

When it comes to being a wife--I am super un-stressed. Genesis, he is more than what I've prayed for. #GodIsThoughtful
