the bachelors' night

Mexican Chicken for our Three Musketeers. =D
Yep, we had good-looking and big-hearted young men in the house tonight. What for? Just talking about the musings of the heart and where God is possibly leading them in the area of their emotions.

We did not call for them. And it had been a lot of re-scheduling in a span of two weeks. And finally, tonight, we dined and seated our hearts in God's presence. Gen and I are joyful that we could spend a moment like this with young men who God looks with great potential for the advancement of His Kingdom.

We are glad that our home is open for conversations & ministry like this. We remain humbled at how God could use us in this way--simple, domestic, behind-the-crowd, and yes, just right in our nest!

We now grow in prayers as we take accountability for our friends and teammates in God's family!

34 weeks

Officially {eight months} now. Weeeee!!!
And so, today, we squeezed time just bonding creatively over this pregnancy journey. Gen wrapped my belly with a gray yarn as we marvel at how God keeps allowing women to be pregnant. He could close wombs any time. But His discretion is inclined to opening them despite the ill-doings that people are busy with today.

"You knit me in my mother's womb..."

This is our theme for the day/week/month (random sked of artwork!)... Thank You, Lord! Let my body praise You, no matter what!

silent cry

[photo taken from his last ultrasound scan; crying mode]

aaaww... wawa naman ang mga naiwan... or mas kawawa ang umiwan? =p

we miss you Tatay!

left for Asingan

 Ready to fly...

Gen's Tatang and Inang (Mama Nars' side) are back in Pinas. After 17 years of not coming home, they're finally here! Gen had to see them and Uncle Ben who's leaving tomorrow back to Hawaii. Aside from that, a family meeting is schedule. As much as we wanted to go together (as this is our first time separate since our wedding), I cannot.

My reluctant jetter now leaves. Sob.

going nine months

Yay! We're NINE MONTHS married on Sunday! =D
Praises to our Lord Jesus Christ who united us and is keeping us strong in this bond!
Despite the toxicity at work, Gen decided we pursue our date night. And yes, because he is leaving for Asingan tomorrow--family. We value it!
Oh my, I'm gonna miss my Achoomoomoo sooooooooo much! Tsk.

much needed

I'm totally splak. Bazaar at Abreeza; banking; shipping orders; grocerying;household chores;

And as vital for every prego to hang those limbs after a *tiring* day, I did my part. And soothing, it is! (not really good for my back, though--as the gravity pulls stronger on it because of the heavy weight on my abdominal part).

Thirty minutes.

necessity lang

Look who's happy with his new toys gadgets!

All right, he needs those. A very simple talk-and-text phone and an iPad. The latter is needed for his job as a program developer; they're making iPad apps soonest! With how they're gonna do it? I'm totally clueless. Sarap siguro ng tulog ni Tatay tonight. Or maybe, he couldn't sleep.

32weeks

Here comes my second TT shot! I don't mind injections but really, this one made me groggy afterwards. Well, because, we headed to the post office to get my third batch of cloth diaper orders (for reselling; pls check out: www.facebook.com/zoevictoriasupsup) and then met up with our maternity session photographer. We had our dinner and then we had to get Gen a phone and his much-needed iPad. Who won't seem to pass out at that?

I missed the youth network leaders' meeting tonight--since I badly needed rest (plus, it's raining hard outside). So, Rest and Health, I am embracing you.

spruce-up-your-own-cupcake

It's our first time to attend a cupcake decoration session. It just happened that it's part of the Kadayawan stint here at Abreeza (while we are part of the thirty or so concessionaires). Mom, Grace and I were among the frontliners and we had the chance to decorate our own cupcakes! Thought this would be a fun activity for the girls in the cell. n_n
