pampering time

I finally chanced Nailaholics at Abreeza. Thanks to Migz who patiently escorted me there (since my baby daddy won't lemme go around the city without company). Did some bank errands and this very special time to have my toenails done. Yes, after three months! (Eek!). I had to find a place where no hair chemical mists might be inhaled. And then, this haven finally unraveled itself. =D

I wasn't able to avail the packaged foot massage though (which I thought I badly need). First (to Second or so) trimester pregos shouldn't be massaged on key points. Ahright, waive it for me! =(

But really, I left happy and satisfied!
(Thank you sa kaisa-isang sponsor: my honey pastor husband *kiss*)

one Psalm at a time

One among our family times where Gen reads a Psalm to Baby Z (yay, we already have a call name for our munchkin!). Could there be kicks already as he listens to his/her dad read the Word? There could be some. But for a first-time mom, no kicks can be felt at this time, although the baby already flutters from time to time. And yes, s/he can already hear by now. Weeeee!!!

Sing, sing, sing...

15 weeks

our fourth visit to my OB-GYNE... and we finally heard Baby Z's power heartbeat. Gen was teary eyed. I was so thrilled and very overwhelmed!

Doc Weng had us feel the baby and yes, s/he has grown so much already we can feel his/her tiny frame.

We left the clinic very thrilled and swooning in joy. We trailed Greenwhich with full of thanksgiving prayers to our Maker. This journey keeps us very conscious of God's reality and sovereignty. Soli Deo Gloria!

pierced

Someone pierced himself with a nail. and this is the kind that is far from the piercing Jesus experience on the Cross. but it almost disturbed him from his computer work, getting stuff from his bag and bathing.

Wow, Jesus, You have done so much for us. Your bloodshed wasn't because of a small piercing but one that caused brutal hemorrhage and death. We are amazed. And from that, our family is saved from all lies the Enemy tries to post. We are VICTORIOUS in You!

that french merienda

Three different styles of frying potato and three different dips... milkshakes and parfaits... the family with the birthday boy. It's Jace's birthday yesterday. We had full lunch yet we still went out to spend time together. I love how we always celebrate our birthdays in a minimalistic way. it makes it less trivial and more special.

We love you, J.Salem Credo Lagat!
